Volunteer Opportunities: Committee members review the many educational enrichment programs available, and meet regularly to discuss and plan the programs within the allocated PTA budget. At least 4 to 8 volunteers are needed to coordinate the events on the days of the programs, as well as market and publicize the event.
The majority of funds raised by the Princeton PTA support educational and co-curricular programs, including the PTA’s Enrichment Programs. The Enrichment Committee works each year to find quality programs that augment or “enrich” the TPS curriculum and education of TPS students. Programs vary yearly, usually centered on an annual theme, bringing in various talents such as artists, musicians, writers, scientists, and storytellers in the form of assemblies and workshops. A goal of the PTA Enrichment Program is to evenly allocate programs to all grades, and to provide programs that are balanced between the arts, literary, historical, and math/science.
